Instructions for Use

Description

Multilink Speed is a self-adhesive, self-curing dental resin cement with light-

curing option for the cementation of indirect restorations made of high-

strength all-ceramic, composite, metal-ceramic and metal. When Multilink

Speed is used, additional dentin bonding agents are not required. The

automix syringe enables a time-saving direct application of the luting

material into the restoration.

Shade

Multilink Speed is available in the shade Translucent.

Working and setting times

The following times apply as soon as Multilink Speed has been dispensed

from the automix syringe (The working and setting times depend on the

ambient temperature):

Attention

After Multilink Speed has been dispensed from the automix syringe, the

setting process can be accelerated by intensive illumination (operating light,

ambient light).

Composition

The monomer matrix is composed of dimethacrylates and acidic monomers.

The inorganic fillers are barium glass, ytterbium trifluoride, co-polymer and

highly dispersed silicon dioxide.Additional contents are catalysts, stabilizers

and colour pigments (< 1%). The primary particle size of the inorganic fillers

is between 0.1µm and 7µm. The mean particle size is 5µm. The total content

of inorganic fillers is approx. 40 vol%.

– metal and metal-ceramic (inlays, onlays, crowns, bridges, endodontic

posts)

– high-strength all-ceramic: zirconium oxide, lithium disilicate and

aluminium oxide ceramics (crowns, bridges, endodontic posts)

– fibre-reinforced composite (endodontic posts)
